Waiting with baited breathe

I don't know how I did it, but when once upon a time I lived outside of London for nearly 2 years I never went to the Victoria and Albert Museum. It's a terrible thing. I spent very much time walking the streets of London but I rarely found my way to museum's or art galleries, even trips to the theatre were few and far between.

I am holidaying in Europe in June and with that holiday I will get a measly 3 days in London and this time I plan to make the most of it. At the very first opportunity I will be seeing the Victoria and Albert Museum, TATE modern and Britain, the Saatchi Gallery... Yes it seems I shall be doing a lot of walking in these fews days. But I am happy to do it.

I have been looking through the Victoria and Albert Museum website and I have found some lovely things to buy for gifts... (ok and some for me too).
This looks like a beautiful book. I love the style of this time, I read many books and watch movies just too see the clothing and way the characters talk with each other.

Isn't this just the cutest? It comes as an apple too. I love stationary, and so do my nieces, a possible gift.  I love to give random gifts to go with touristy tat, something they will use.

Isn't this bag devine. It's the Furoshiki Bag by Yohji Yamamoto. I think the style is just so simplistic, great for casual days out.

These are so amazing, wood carved stamps. I'm already thinking who I could give these to.

I am looking forward to this trip, I am counting down the weeks at present, but I still hold a dream that one day I will be able to acquire a visa for me to work there longer. But that is something I have to work towards. It seems every time I get close visa requirements change. But I will hopefully find away.
