One thing I love about village life is that you don't just have friends around your own age. You have friends that are young and and parents and even people that could be your grandparents. Yet you stop and chat at the bus stop and you have drinks in the pub, you meet people in the corner store and say hi to everyone.
When I worked in one of the pubs I met lots of people and off duty I'd have a drink and meet people. One family I met were lovely and now their family has been ripped apart.
Sue "The Rock Chick" Lewis was an amazing woman that passed away last night, from a Brain Haemorrhage. She was an amazing woman with great sons and beautiful grandchildren. In the late 80's see worked as PA to the Int Managing director of Metal Hammer Magazine. Recently Sue and her best friend Nicki had started a Promotions company called Rock Chick Promotions. They both go to loads of gigs and really promote bands playing in venues across the UK. If you are into Hard Rock you have probably seen them at a gig somewhere.
