I didn't get called into work today. So I decided to head to the craft store as I needed another ball of yarn to finish the Beanie Hat I am working on.
When I was driving up the road I noticed something on the road. So I stopped the car to take a look. It was a boys tie from one of my local Secondary schools. So I took some photos and decided that it would make a perfect belt for my denim shorts in the Summer.
This is to tell us that we are going into a school zone and to drive carefully. As a teacher I think its terribly important, because children tend to run around heading to and from school. Bless them. And they don't always look for car before running out into the road.
This was the tie looking like a colourful snake crawling along the road.
This school's colours are Royal Blue, Red and White. So I think the tie will work as a tie or I can wrap it around a hat to give it colour. It does needs a wash though, boys aren't the cleanest creatures and this one is the worse for wear for being run over today.
