Dydd Gwyl Dewi Hapus! Happy St David's Day!

I know I have an obsession about moving to London, however, for me Wales also holds some sense of home for me.  I have been told that my last name Ellis is Welsh, although I never met an Ellis the whole time I was there.  It is such a lovely country and the people so welcoming and willing to teach you the language.

I was lucky enough to go to Cymru/Wales on St David's day in 2006. I loved the fact that all of the castles had free entry. I think I managed 3 castles in one day travelling through the North of Wales.  I was even more impressed by the fact that it was also the first time I had seen snow. Although, due to the snow I couldn't get to Snowdonia National Park due to the roads being blocked. Oh well another time.

How could you not love a country that has the Daffodil as the National flower (one of my favourite flowers - creates so much happiness), and the Leek as the National Vegetable. I would make some Potato and Leek soup if it wasn't so hot. Not too mention the top notch Rugby Team (not better then Australia come the World Cup 2011 - hopefully)
