Last week I told that I was going to Skirmish on Sunday and that I had plans for colourful photo taking.
Well unfortunately, the photos didn't happen. It wasn't safe enough to take the photos onto the courses, and since the paint is vegetable based it did not hang around on the clothes. So no lovely action photos.
This photo was the whole group in out "sexy" outfits. They were so hot and felt awkward running around in them. Could not imagine bring a real soldier with a pack on my back as well. There's another two blokes not in the photo, but yeah our girls out numbered the boys but we ended on the same team. We were playing with 70 other people it was roughly 40 vs. 40.

This one was the best of my bruises. I was freakily shot three times in this same spot. The bruises take ages to come up, this one was a few hours after the games, over the evening it doubled in size. I was so impressed with the colours at the beginning. The blue and the purples were the most lovely colours, the next day they were darker and not pretty anymore.
Of course I had to go to work on the Monday, I kept a cardigan on all day but it proved too hot, so Tuesday I didn't bother with the cover up and just told the students what happened to my arms.
I was surprised that they didn't have lots of questions.
Anyway it was a fantastic experience. A lot of people couldn't come this weekend so we are organising another game later in the year. I think it will be better next time when we know what to expect.
